- Explain the Basics of Cloud Computing: Understand what cloud computing is, and how it’s different from traditional computing.
- Identify Different AWS Services: Be able to name and describe what AWS EC2, S3, and RDS are used for.
- Demonstrate Practical Skills in AWS: Successfully deploy a frontend application to S3, a backend application to EC2, and a database to RDS.
- Understand the Importance of Cloud Databases: Describe why databases in the cloud can be beneficial and name at least two advantages.
- Articulate Basic Cloud Terminology: Understand and use terms like “instance”, “bucket”, “security group”, and “availability zone”.
- Navigate AWS Console: Comfortably navigate through the AWS Management Console to locate and interact with different services.
